What can I do with this app?

ICONIT can:

  • scan "QR code" and "EAN code" as Barcode reader.
  • collect "ICONs" of a lot of info.
  • make your profile "ICON" and exchange with friends, and exchange messages with friends you exchanged the ICON with.

Do I need to pay?

ICONIT is free of charge. However, data connection charge for sending and receiving data shall be paid by user to your mobile company.

Barcode cannot be scanned.

Please note the following when scanning a QR code and Barcode.

  • Take the whole picture of the Barcode.
  • Place the Barcode just in front of the camera.
  • Move the camera back and forward to focus (or by tapping).
  • Check if any dirt or scratch is on the lens.
  • If the Barcode is printed on a material that reflects light (ex. vinyl), try to minimize the reflection.
  • Picture may not be taken in a dark place. Turn on camera light or move to brighter place.

Camera does not work.

Check if the camera works with another app (other than ICONIT). If working well, reboot the terminal and try again.

How to uninstall the app?

Follow the Uninstall Instruction to delete applications for your OS

※ Note: your account remains even after uninstall.
※ ICONIT cannot be uninstalled from the terminal which ICONIT is preinstalled in.

How to delete the data (withdraw)?

Please follow the instructions below to delete.
Once the account or data is deleted, the profile registered, your ICONs, history of Barcode reading cannot be recovered.

  1. "Others" on the lower part of screen -> Tap "Setting"
  2. Tap "Delete Data".
  3. Tap "Delete".
    ※If you have an account, enter your password before tapping "Delete".

How to upgrade?

Each OS has different way of upgrading steps. Please follow the below steps.

iOS:
Access App Store and tap "Upgrade".

Access Google Play and tap "Update".

How to delete ICONs?

  1. Open "ICON Book" and tap the ICON you want to delete.
  2. Tap "・・・" in the upper right corner of ICON Information screen.
  3. Tap "Delete ICON"
  4. Tap "Delete" if you are asked "Do you want to delete this ICON?"
The ICON once deleted cannot be recovered.

Before changing cellphone.

Even after model change, ICONs collected and messages between friends can be transferred.

  1. Be sure to register account before changing models.
  2. Install ICONIT after model change. Go to "Others"->"Setting"->"Account" and login with your user ID (email address) and password previously registered.

I forgot password.

There is a link "Forgot your password?" in every screen where password is required. Tap the link and send an email. Be sure to send from the email address when you registered account.
※ if the email address is changed due to model change, etc, change your user ID (email address) from "Change ID/Password" beforehand.
